  राष्ट्रीय शिक्षण की भूमिका -- श्रीअरविंद (श्रीअरविंद ने 1910 में ‘कर्मयोगिन्’ नामक पत्र में यह लेख माला लिखी थी ।) अंग्रेजी, जम्रन या अमरीकन विद्यालय या विश्वविद्यालय को कुछ थोड़े-से हेर-फेर के साथ अपना लेना और उस पर जरासा भारतीयता की ओप लगा देना ज्यादा आकर्षण रूप से सरल है और इसमें हम सोच-विचार या नये परीक्षण करने की आवश्यकता से बच जाते हैं।      हमारे मन में इससे ज्यादा गहरी, महान् और सूक्ष्म चीज की खोज है। उसे रूप देने में चाहे जितनी कठिनाइयां आये, हम एक ऐसी शिक्षा चाहते हैं जो भारतीय आत्मा के अनुकूल हो। यहां की आवश्यकताओं, यहां के स्वभाव और यहां की संस्कृति के साथ मेल खाती हो। हम ऐसी चीज की खोज में नहीं है जो केवल हमारे भूतकाल की अनुकृति हो, बल्कि विकसनशील भारतीय आत्मा उसकी भावी आवश्यकताओं, उसके भावी आत्म-निर्माण की महानता और उसकी शाश्वत आत्मा के अनुरूप हो।हमें अपने मन में इस चीज को स्पष्ट कर लेना है और इसके लिये हमें मौलिक तत्वों तक उतरना और उन्हें बड़े अंश में कार्यान्वित करना शुरू करने से पहले उन्हें मजबूत बनाना है। अन्यथा, इससे आसान और कुछ नही है कि झूठी, परन...
