उत्तरयोगी श्रीअरविन्द  ( 15.08.1872-05.12.1950 ) यह नाम श्रीअरविन्द को तमिल के प्रसिद्ध योगी की भविष्यवाणी के आधार पर दिया गया है। दक्षिण के प्रसिद्ध योगी नगाईजप्ता ने यह भविष्यवाणी की थी कि तीस वर्ष बाद उत्तर से एक योगी दक्षिण में आयेगा और यहां दक्षिण में पूर्ण योग का अभ्यास करेगा। उन्होंने उस योगी की पहचान कर सकने के लिये लक्षण के रूप में तीन वचन (पागलपन) कहें। वे तीनों श्रीअरविन्द के उनकी पत्नि के नाम पत्रों में पाये जाते है। वे तीन पागलपन थे 1. श्रीअरविन्द द्वारा यह लिखा कि उनकी समस्त योग्यता ईश्वर की देन है और येयोग्यता केवल राष्ट्र के लिये है। 2. ईश्वर की खोज 3. भारत को स्वतंत्र कराने का लक्ष्य।  श्रीअरविन्द बहुमुखी प्रतिभा से सम्पन्न, न केवल वे एक महान योगी, मन्त्रद्रष्टा, ऋषि, दार्शनिक, कवि, लेखक थे बल्कि एक महान देशभक्त, स्वतन्त्रता सेनानी और क्रान्तिकारी भी थे:- 1.     श्रीअरविन्द ने पहली बार पूर्ण स्वतंत्रता की मांग रखी थी। 2.    श्रीअरविन्द भारत देश को जड़ पदार्थ-मात्र खेत, मैदान, जंगल, पर्वत, नदियां नहीं समझते थे। देश को भारत माता के रूप मे...

  Sri Aurobindo also known as Uttaryogi( 15.08.1872-05.12.1950) This name is given to Sri Aurobindo on the basis of the prophecy of the famous Tamil Yogi. Nagaijapta, the famous yogi of the south, predicted that after thirty years a yogi from the north would come to the south and would practice complete yoga here in the south.
