  New Delhi World Book Fair 2023 is being organised from 25 Feb to 5 March 2023 at Paragati Maidan by National Book Trust Government of India,under the Ministry of Higher Education, Government of India. France is the guest of Honour this year.There are , inter alia , four main features of this world book fair. First , the main theme of the book fair is Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav-India is celebrating the 75th Independence year. Second, India and the world is celebrating 150th birth celebration of yogi, poet, writer, revolutionary Mahayogi Aurobindo Ghosh. Presidency of India for G20 group is also conspicuous in the fair. Fourth highlight is that of NEP 2020, one Pavilion is dedicated for the national education policy 2020.   Coming to the inauguration hall where the world book fair was inaugurated by the minister of Higher Education we also find a quote with photo  by Sri Aurobindo "“The whole world yearns after freedom, yet each creature is in love with his chains; this is the first

  नई दिल्ली विश्व पुस्तक मेला 2023 का आयोजन 25 फरवरी से 5 मार्च 2023 तक भारत सरकार के उच्च शिक्षा मंत्रालय के अधीन नेशनल बुक ट्रस्ट भारत सरकार द्वारा प्रगति  मैदान में किया जा रहा है। फ्रांस इस वर्ष सम्मानित अतिथि है। अन्य बातों के साथ-साथ इस विश्व पुस्तक मेले की चार मुख्य विशेषताएं हैं। सबसे पहले, पुस्तक मेले का मुख्य विषय आजादी का अमृत महोत्सव है - भारत 75वां स्वतंत्रता वर्ष मना रहा है। दूसरा, भारत और दुनिया योगी, कवि, लेखक, क्रांतिकारी महायोगी अरबिंदो घोष की 150वीं जयंती मना रही है। मेले में G20 समूह के लिए भारत की अध्यक्षता भी प्रमुख है। चौथा आकर्षण एनईपी 2020 का है, एक मंडप राष्ट्रीय शिक्षा नीति 2020 के लिए समर्पित है। उच्च शिक्षा मंत्री,भारत सरकार  द्वारा उद्घाटन हॉल में जहां विश्व पुस्तक मेले का उद्घाटन किया गया था, श्री अरविंद की  फोटो के साथ एक उद्धरण भी पाते हैं " पूरी दुनिया आजादी के लिए तरसती है, फिर भी प्रत्येक प्राणी अपनी जंजीरों से प्यार करता है; यह है हमारी प्रकृति का पहला विरोधाभास और अटूट गाँठ"। यह ध्यान रखना दिलचस्प है कि भारत के प्रत्येक 15 अगस्त- स्वतंत्र
