Is “basic structure doctrine of constitution of India” above “Bharat Bodh-the soul of India”? Liberty ,Equality and Fraternity are considered, worldwide, the noble ideas of modern times since French Revolution. These ideas have been unanimously accepted by Nation States across the world. Hence one constitution can govern all the countries aspiring to achieve the ideals of Liberty equality and fraternity. This can be the logic.But is it right? One may read the constitutions of all the countries in the world and would be satisfied that these three ideas are common, in principle, in all the constitutions though word diction, nomenclature ,and drafting may differ. One will also observe that no doubt,these ideas are found in all the constitutions of the countries but the ideals are subject to various reasonable restrictions.
