  Excerpts from concluding remarks by  The Honourable Dr. Rajendra Prasad on Constitution of India Saturday, the 26th November,1949     Mr. President: .....   The first question which arises and which has been mooted is as to  the category to which this Constitution belongs . Personally, I do not attach any importance to the label which may be attached to it – whether you call it Federal Constitution or Unitary Constitution or by any other name. It makes no difference so long as the Constitution serves our purpose.
